Senior contract soldier, special forces operative

In 2014, he participated in the battles for Savur-Mohyla as part of the 51 Mechanized Brigade. During the fighting, out of the available 12 tanks, only 2 remained: one could drive but not shoot, the other could shoot but not drive; out of 36 BMPs, only 4 were combat-ready. He was wounded but returned to the front after recovery.

He participated in the battles for Debaltseve as part of the 128 Mountain Assault Brigade.

Subsequently, he served as a sniper in a unit of the 8th Special Operations Regiment.

He died on November 19, 2021, from wounds sustained during shelling by Russian mercenaries near the village of Prychepylivka in Luhansk Oblast.

For personal courage, conscientious and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people, and exemplary performance of military duty, he was awarded:

  • Order "For Courage" III degree  (03.11.2015)
    For personal courage and selfless actions shown in the defense of Ukraine's state sovereignty and territorial integrity, and exemplary performance of military duty, he was awarded:

  • Order "For Courage" II degree (posthumously) (21.11.2021)

He is survived by his wife and three children.
