Born in Krasnostavtsi, Chemerivtsi district, Khmelnytskyi region - Ukrainian kickboxer. Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in WAKO kickboxing.

In 2012, he entered Podilsky State Agrarian and Technical University, and in 2014, he started training in the kickboxing section.

During his kickboxing career, he twice triumphed in World Cup competitions and twice won "bronze" at European Championships in 2016 and 2018. The Ukrainian won the K-1 world championship in 2019. He also won a bronze medal at the 2021 championship.

In 2017, Holovatyuk represented Ukraine at the World Games in Poland, where he won "silver" in the heaviest category over 91 kg.

Roman, by the call of his heart, left his bright sports career as soon as the full-scale war came to Ukraine. In the first days of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered for the front - where he was desperately needed. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the Hero served in the Special Operations Forces.

Awards: Order for Courage of the second and third degrees.
